finally went to e zoo! i wan to go before e nxt yr comes coz its like i've been toking abt it for so long. =D we went on e... hmmm... let me c... er... 26-12-2004. keke... went to chk my digital photos saved date. lolz... i got STM ma.

though it was a short trip. like 4 hrs coz dar was tired. n i was kinda sad coz i planned to c all e animals shows n stuffs. we oni covered half e zoo. we din even c e snakes or polar bears. but nvm la, theres always e nxt time. unless i die 1st. haha...

{on our way there}

we left hme at abt 10.30am. went to ta bao fr mac regan's n mine breakie den coffeeshop to ta bao dar's breakie. he wanted t eat prawn noodle. but i din noe. he din even say till i finish buying mine. if not can eat there together ma. i dun mind prawn noodles oso ma. i thot he din wan to eat coz i did ask him. =P den go mom's hse to take camera. n OFF WE GO!

{walking to e entrance of e zoo}

managed to find a lot nearer to e entrance so we dun haf to walk so far. e weather looks good. it was cloudy but din rain. at least e sun was shining on us directly. hee...

{deers}

regan din wan to take any pics coz he wans to b e one taking pics. but i dun trust his skills la. most prob all e pics out of angle one or worse, he drops e camera into e pool. =P

tats e 1st animal we saw. haha... kinda boring.

{flamingos}

we din take too many pics. actually e nicest animal we saw was e leopard. most of e animals other than e monkeys were like hiding in corners so u cant reallie c them. so they look so far away like a 'dot'.

but e leopard enclosure was through a glass n e leopard was like cat-walking in right in front of e glass. his body is brushing against e glass lor. tats how close it was. u feel like u can literally touch it. e lion one had it too but e lions were sleeping in a distance. so COOL ok e leopard. though like so show-off, but at least can c it so up close ma.

ok peeps, iq qns : wats e difference between a leopard n a jaguar? hee... tag me e ans if u noe. =)

{trams}

regan wanted to sit on e trams. but dar was already tired n just wan to walk ard n den go hme. whenever he saw a tram, u can c his sad face coz he wasn't on it. =(

{children's show}

we managed to catch 2 animal shows out of 4. e children one (12.30pm) n e primates one (1.30pm). e children's animal show was not bad though e presenter was talking too fast. quite entertaining overall. hee...

din hang ard to visit e animal land for regan coz we were rushing to catch e primate animal show. u have to b like 15 mins early to get a good seat. =)

{e son}

while waiting, took some pics. hee... he only let us take dis nice pic of him coz i promised him he can take one for us. kids nowadays r just so good at bargaining.

{primates show}

e primate show was quite furnee. they added in a few new stunts. its still largely similiar over e yrs.

e world is so small. as usual, they need a participant n guess wat. e participant was sanjiv's (abecha ex-colleague) brother-in-law. i tink. forgot wat relationship but got relationship la. haha... his name is sunil. =) of course, as expected, e participant always loses. e animals r just so fantastic. i din noe sanjiv was there till e show was over n we walked out. den sanjiv's wife had such sharp eyes tat she spotted me n called me. =) saw their daughter too. so cute can. like a little princess.

i'm so amazed at how well they trained e animals. but tink there r not too many presenters. coz e 2 presenters at e animal show was there at e primate show too. hee... actually it seems fun being a presenter. was tinking if i shld do part-time n work for e night safari. it wld b an experience. perhaps i mre or less settle dwn with project 'x' den can look into it. can learn new tings ma.

must revisit e zoo again mayb later dis yr. dis time must c e polar bears n catch e other 2 animal shows - elephants n sealions. n let regan go to e children's animal land to c e sheep, chickens n goats. saw e horse though. v well trained. they gazed n when they hear a whistle, they would start galloping very quickly rd e ring. they r so majestic-looking n strong.

tink e most common animal in e zoo are e monkeys, apes, orang-utans, gorrilas coz whereever i go, i c them at dis turn n tat.

we headed hme after e primate show. went to eat 'wu xing' chicken rice at upp bt timah. i like e chicken rice there with e side dish 'jia xiang toufu'. so yummie. =9
